Garena+ (occasionally styled Garena plus) is an online gaming community that connects players through a global network. While Garena+ features a fairly varied library, it does not offer connections with every possible game that is playable by multiple gamers at once. However, some of the games that it does offer are very good ones indeed!
Once the player has downloaded and installed Garena+ they will have to register and create a profile in order to log-in. Once this is completed the player is awarded an avatar and can search to see who is online and who can see their profile. Unfortunately, the avatars are not customisable in the free version; in order to make their avatar unique players must be prepared to pay for the privilege.
Perhaps the highest rated game on the community, World of Warcraft 3 has a very popular following on Garena+ and even boasts an online video channel and high-level championship contest. Other games include Age of Empires 1 and 2, Call of Duty: World at War, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Starcraft, Counter Strike: Source, Borderlands and Team Fortress 2, and more, plus there is support for a wide range of other games. This impressive list is one of the reasons that Garena+ is so popular: the list may be short, but it offers genuine gaming quality.
Garena+ boasts an internal messaging system that allows gamers to contact and communicate with each other. Experienced members who are very active and helpful on the forum can earn points for their advice and activity.
The major advantage of playing through Garena+ is that the platform is a simple and safe way for players to find like-minded opponents and partners to play with or against in their favourite games. Using Garena+ guarantees that players will only find fellow-players, not hackers, phishers or data-miners, keeping their computers and their persons protected.
There have been some issues with beta testing the platform and, although these are mostly sorted out as the developers are made aware of them, there still may be one or two problems to trip the unwary.

Garena+ is a Windows program for discovering other gamers to play alongside and against.
Garena+ is essentially a looking-for-group platform in app form. For those that don't know, LFG is all about bringing likeminded gamers together on a compatible schedule. Such a tool is particularly useful for adult gamers who may have unpredictable availability due to other responsibilities.
After you download, install and run Garena+, you'll have to create an account by entering a username and password. Garena+ accounts are free, and you don't need to supply an email address, but it can come in handy if you ever lose your password.
Once connected, you can see all of the other users currently online. You can even sort them by the games they're playing or want to play. You may also friend people, and those gamers will take priority on your list. Players are self-labeled by skill level as well. You can sort by skill and search for players who have a skill level similar to your own.
The great thing about Garena+ is that it lets you find teammates and opponents from all over the world regardless of your local time. The app also has an internal messaging system. It's nice for introductions or games that don't support chat. The website has a robust forum system for conversations that are too complex for simple chats.
You represent yourself to the rest of the community with an avatar. The avatar is provided to you upon opening a Garena+ account. If you want to personalize your avatar beyond the default, you're going to have to pay for that privilege. This is how the service generates income.
Note that Garena+ doesn't support every game out there. With some exceptions, it also tends not to add new games as soon as they become available. Instead, this service generally focuses on games that have real staying power and loyal fan bases, such as Team Fortress 2 and Warcraft 3. This approach has advantages and drawbacks, but it certainly helps to curate a particular type of gamer who is very committed to the games that he or she plays.
